Darragh Kennedy

BSc. Physical Therapy, B.A. Strength and Conditioning

I graduated with a Diploma in Physical Therapy in 2009, following that up with my Degree in Physical Therapy in 2014. Also in 2014, I complete my Degree in Strength & Conditioning.

I have worked in Private Practice since 2009, and set up Caherdavin Physical Therapy in 2011. Coming from a sports background, I have developed a keen interest in all things sports and exercise related.

My career so far has seen me work across a wide variety of sports settings, such as International Basketball tournaments, Club and Intercounty GAA, Schools and Adult Rugby (AIL and Munster Junior teams), Inter County Soccer, 3rd Level GAA, Soccer and Rugby. In clinic, I treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, in both sporting and nonsporting people.

Other areas of work include tutoring on courses in the areas of Sports Massage and Therapy and Strength & Conditioning . I work as a Sports Therapy product trainer with a local Medical Devices company and I also work as a consultant ergonomic assessor with a leading Health and Wellness company.

Personally I would highly recommend going to caherdavin physiotherapy. During my ACL recovery I found it tough, but Darragh was very reassuring which helped me and was there with me step by step through the 9/10 month process. Any time I had any issues with my knee I would text Darragh and I would always get a quick response from him which was very comforting. Would definitely advice to go to Caherdavin Physiotherapy.

Darragh is by far and away the best physiotherapy I have worked with. I was an active runner, cyclist and weight lifter until a car accident limited my mobility and strength. I was staring down the barrel of surgery but after 6 months with Darragh I am now don’t need surgery and am continue to progress back to where I was before the accident. Couldn’t recommend him enough.
